We had been told, and now believed that everything we needed had already been made and was already there - below the surface of the ground. Using the various divination devices, our job was to dig it up and rearrange it to meet our needs. 

"How do we know where to dig ? I asked,  "It's more a question of when" the man replied. "The device will tell you when, and that is where you dig. "
