"What are they?" I asked,  "Time bubbles" she replied "Each one will take you back to a bubble of time when you were happy. They break down the surface tension of now, and allow you move back for a while" " What happens if I take more than one ?" " The skin of the bubbles gets thicker the more you take, and they take longer to burst" Do I stay happier longer?" "No, it just takes longer to go back next time, as the skin of the present also gets thicker, and harder to pierce" I watched her from the window as she left, without looking back.
